OSU beats LSU or Bama

Oregon is not a good passing team, no.

I'm not high or trolling. Unless of course you consider the 78th ranked passing offense good.

i do think the #6 overall offense in the country to be pretty good even though I hate Oregon.

Arky managed 14 points in a blowout loss against the #1 defense in the nation but is going to explode for big points against the #2 defense. The #6 passing offense lost by 27 at home and arky has the #8 passing offense but arky will beat them cause lsu hasn't played anyone. Your logic makes perfect sense.

What are you talking about?

Oregon is not a good passing team, deny it if you want.

West Virginia is the only team to play LSU with a good passing offense and they did well. Oklahoma State is considerably better than West Virginia. That's all I'm saying.

Somewhat off-topic, but I can't be the only one who'd get a kick out of seeing Houston play in a BCS bowl just to see how many points they'd give up. It'd be huge for Conference USA if Houston made one, but their defense is so awful I'm not sure Case Keenum would be able to keep them alive.

I was about to say....

Oregon, anyone???

And that was with two horrible turnovers by deanthony Thomas.

The one thing I will say for okie lite is that if there is any one wr in the country who can get open on lsu, it's blackmon. And lsu couldn't double him, he's not their only good wideout

oregon is an all around explosive offense. lsu shut them down. just like they did wvu. since when did passing yards become the measuring stick for offensive success? how come you're not making an arguement for case keenum and houston being able to hang with lsu?

I;m guessing LSU would beat OSU by about 40 points.

Wheeden and company are fun to watch, but they would look like they were facing the Lions front four, probably kill Wheeden, and Blackmon would pull a hammy or something to save his draft stock after getting jacked about 3 times.

Because they aren't the topic of this thread. I also haven't seen them play this year.

amazing how teams have bad turnovers against superior competition. i think lsu's secondary can hang with okie lite's wideouts and play them even. the front four is what wins the game for lsu. no doubt the okie lite could move the ball from the 20-20 but in the red zone lsu is extremely tough.

OSU can't block Bama or LSU up front. Doesn't make for good QB play or enough points to beat either team.

arky wasn't the topic either but you managed to work them into the conversation. why watch the games you are basing your arguement off stats only. if you watched the games you'd understand using wvu has an example does little to help your cause.

If Oregon and WVU can get 3-4+ scoring drives and 350 or 500+ yards on LSU, so can Oklahoma State. The Cowboys problem is that they would give up the speed limit

Ok, bud.

For the last time, WVU had 500 yards passing against LSU. I watched the game. I watched WVU move the ball on LSU, all I'm saying is Oklahoma State would do as good, and most likely better.

I still have not seen an answer to the question about the Defense OSU has played. Oh yeah, that is because there has yet to be one.

id agree with that. 34-17 or 41-21 would probably be the final score.

they gave up 500 yards. did wvu ever have a chance of winning that game? maybe a brief glimmer of hope at the end of the 3rd quarter before lsu stepped on their throat again. so okie lite racks up yards. what good is that going to do if they can't win the game?

I see Texas as #31. Okie State as #110.

Okie State would get curb stomped by LSU.

cfbstats.com - 2011 National Team Leaders

You are looking at 2 different stats.

A minute ago you posted total defense which texas is 15th, and Oklahoma State is 110th.

Here you have scoring defense, which Texas is 31st and Oklahoma State is 77th.

I was just answering a question. Texas is the best defense they've faced.

Too many links and I got mixed up, I clicked on yours. Sorry for the confusion. Oklahoma State is #110 in total defense.

Regardless this isn't about Texas, who isn't a threat for the National Championship this year. It's about Oklahoma State. Plus, we hear this bull every year about the great offenses beating the SEC. We heard it about Oregon last year.

Five straight. :peace2:
