Weird. I was wondering yesterday if Dolly was married, cause you never heard much about it. I was also wondering if any of the members of Badfinger were still alive, and the last member died yesterday.

Earlier this year, I was wondering what happened to the Smothers Brothers, I’m that old, and went on Wikipedia and Tommy Smothers had died the day before. It was on Wiki but had not even made the news yet!

I need to stop wondering!

I know it was just part of her act, but with the way Dolly used to publicly flirt with famous men like Kenny Rogers, Burt Reynolds, Sylvester Stallone etc. ..... he must have felt very secure in who he was. At least when she was on television, Dolly didn't act much like a married woman in the 70's and early 80's.

You are speaking from today's perspective. Most people in the 1970's did not know she was married and would not have suspected that she was married, and that's largely due to how she conducted herself. Very flirtatious.

Yes, I know it was just Dolly keeping up a comedic public persona and that wasn't genuinely who she was in her private life.
