Good for Murray. I just hope he stays healthy because it's such a shame when kids get hurt their final year.

I'm afraid unless he grows a couple of inches, his draft position just is what it is.

If he has a good senior year he could improve a little. It's probably worth the shot at least

We spoiled David Greene's senior season, might as well spoil Murray's. Lets get it.

Yea real shocker here. I would've been more shocked if he had declared for the nfl.

He is the top rated qb in the country. Bray is #29.

Murray:
386 attempts-3,893 yards / 10.1 yds per attempt/
64.5 % completion / 36 TD-10 int/Rating 174.8

Bray:
451 attempts-3612 yards/ 8.0 yds per attempt/
59.4% completion/ 34 TD-12 INT/ Rating 146.3

I can't find a category here where Bray has superior stats. Bray just threw it more. Murray throws 65 fewer passes for 281 more yards. According to Vol Nation posters, Bray had the best receivers in the country , the best offensive line, and best OL coach, yet Murray beat him in every category. It can even be argued that Murray was under more pressure than Bray, because Bray was only sacked about 8 times and Murray about 30 or so. I would have to look that up, but it's close.

So, all the VN posters with orange tinted glasses think Bray is a lock, and Murray has no chance in the pros. We will see.

Murray staying for his Senior year doesn't really worry me as a Vol fan. Of course if you only look at his stats, he has put up some soon-to-be record breaking numbers, and UGA has their share of wins, but in reality Murray just doesn't strike fear in opponents. During his tenure as starter, he simply doesn't seem to have "it", and has more often than not failed to lead his team to a win unless they were favored, and even then he has had some history of playing poorly in games they should've won as well.

In his case, I'll take the devil you know instead of the one you don't know anything about.

He is the same height as Johnny Football isnt he ?

Manziel and Russell Wilson are heralded for their ability to run the zone read option and create/extend plays with their legs. Neither would be competitive, much less excellent, at the level they are now playing if they didn't run very well.

Murray is much more of a traditional, pocket-passing QB like Brees making the Drew Brees discussions legitimate. The Wilson/Manziel comparisons are pointless.

Does those stats include the SEC Title game and bowl game?

Or just Reg. season?

Bc Murray played 2 more games then Bray has this year.

All Murray does is win. I goes AJ doesn't strike fear in other people at Bama either, right?
