OT: Murray back to UGA for senior season

All Murray does is win. I goes AJ doesn't strike fear in other people at Bama either, right?

A 28-13 record, with losses to Colorado, C.Florida, Miss St, Michigan St, and 3 straight to S.Carolina, isn't what I'd call someone that just "wins".

I have no idea what you meant about striking fear in Bama either.......although it was close, he lost yet another big game when it counted. Even Dawg fans here in Atlanta were calling for him to be benched at various times the past three years, including this one.

Murray is a fine stat-collector, but he isn't leading Georgia to a win they weren't supposed to already win.

Can't disagree overall with your post. I will say that you can't blame UGA or Murray for the teams in the East being crappy.

Did your objectivity include Marshall and Gurley? You realize our run threat vs. UGA's pales in comparison. Everyone knew Bray was throwing for the win.

That's crazy, considering UT had the better O-line.

why stay? next years draft is kinda low on QBs and quite a few teams need one.

It's hard to imagine it being much uglier than this years. There just aren't any sure things at QB in this draft.

He is the top rated qb in the country. Bray is #29.

Murray:
386 attempts-3,893 yards / 10.1 yds per attempt/
64.5 % completion / 36 TD-10 int/Rating 174.8

Bray:
451 attempts-3612 yards/ 8.0 yds per attempt/
59.4% completion/ 34 TD-12 INT/ Rating 146.3

I can't find a category here where Bray has superior stats. Bray just threw it more. Murray throws 65 fewer passes for 281 more yards. According to Vol Nation posters, Bray had the best receivers in the country , the best offensive line, and best OL coach, yet Murray beat him in every category. It can even be argued that Murray was under more pressure than Bray, because Bray was only sacked about 8 times and Murray about 30 or so. I would have to look that up, but it's close.

So, all the VN posters with orange tinted glasses think Bray is a lock, and Murray has no chance in the pros. We will see.
I don't think Bray is a lock at all. I just think the market for 6' QBs is always tough no matter what the college stats look like.

Good for him. QB's have a lot longer life span in the NFL than RB's so him staying is a good thing for him. I can understand the RB's going ASAP. Longevity just isn't there.

No Jenkins, 3/4ths of their secondary. They are losing like 9 starters on D and maybe Geathers too. The schedule is a lot tougher next year. They have had a ridiculously easy skd the last coulpe of years, but they have Clemson and LSU next year.

So when we beat them with Murray there, so much the better.

SC and Spurrier should have a strong shot to win the east next year. Dylan Thompson>Driskel

They've been bringing in one Top 10 class after another. Their defense was above average this year but I highly doubt an entire defense of 4/5 star guys is going to suddenly suck next year and furthermore, they could always use the Auburn model and outscore everyone. They'll be good next year.
