OU Loss will be our most important loss.

Hard to be too excited after a lopsided loss, but I agree that this might have been our toughest matchup. A week to recover and practice could pay big dividends as we delve into the SEC schedule. I expect to see us fight and compete with even the strongest teams in the SEC this year. We won't win them all, but the ship is pointed in the right direction.

Not being able to flip the field killed us. Darr struggled the past 2 games and we felt it. Up until the pick six, we were still in the game even with our OLine struggling. They will continue to get better as the year goes as they gain more experience. This game more than likely opened the O Lines eyes on what they are going to be up against the rest of the season.

As has been mentioned many times, if UT scores the TD instead of a 100 yard pick 6 it's a 27-17 game in the 4th quarter instead of 34-10. UT competed very well on Sat.

The Vols looked better than I expected. The O line will get better. They are just inexperienced and this game will pay dividends as the season progresses. Anyone who looks past this team is in for bad time. UGA better watch itself. Tennessee is going to come out of the bye week angry and looking for an upset.

Agreed, OP. After having a few days to process the game and the loss, I truly believe that Saturday night was the beginning of the end of our suckage.

Last year against ORE, we looked like a high school team and got completely destroyed. The game was never in doubt midway thru the 2nd quarter, and we had a much more veteran team.

Saturday night, we fought hard and we were a handful of plays away from making it competitive late in the game - and we had TRUE freshmen all over the field!

The future is bright, my friends. We just have to stay the course...

Did not see the Fla/Ky game. Wondering if UF is that bad or has UK improved that much? Did not see 3 OTs for the victory at the swamp on the map, so that game leaves me questioning how good both of those teams really are.

Florida definitely has a lot of room for improvement, and against better defenses will really struggle. Kentucky looked like they finally have a real qb and probably capable of winning a couple sec games.

I want to see Scott get some game action vs. Georgia. It would be nice to have a viable third option at RB moving forward.

Not meant to oppose your post, but I'm thinking they don't actually "rebound" as
much as they simply pick up where they left off and continue to make progress. Like keep moving in-stride.

Agreed - Team 118 gets better every week. As OMG said, "They lost but they didn't get beat." I'm can't wait for the next game! UGA will definitely be facing an even better team than OU faced. GO VOLS! :clapping:
