Imitation is biggest form of flattery. I find it funny Natural Gas called it BEAT the HEAT when fans were checkerboard against KY in 06. Thunder are doing fans in checkerboard and are in arena sponsored by energy. Looks great!

I want the Heat to win just because so many people hate Lebron for no real reason and refuse to give the guy credit and they need to be shut up. I love watching the Thunder though..

I like LJ but I like the Thunder. The heat reminds me of the Yankees trying to buy a championship.

Except there is something called a salary cap. There's a reason why the thunders role players are so much better than the heats.

"Beat the heat" has been around for years. It was stolen from "beat LA".

Glad to see you finally decided to watch an NBA game.

its a good thing.....it still reeks of collusion and kind of defeats what sports and competition is about.

im sure if lebron, wade and bosh went to philly you wouldnt mind as a fan :hi:

I would still cheer for my sixers and wear my fake, trumped up championship shirt with pride but it is still what is completely wrong with sports in today's times. There is no glory with what the heat have done.

What? Sign good players to win a championship in a sport where there is a salary cap - yeah the bastards!

Don't you understand. The Heat are clearly cheaters who gamed the system by signing free agents and forcing the Cavs and Raptors to do sign and trades. Hell they even forced them to take all those first round picks for the next couple years.

You seem to be speaking with little to no knowledge on the subject. Do you know how much signing the big three has done to limit their bench as well as their future draft picks?

So please, tell me what "the heat have done."

I don't understand what the Heat did or why people say that. They signed 2 really good players and kept Wade. You could say the exact same for The Celtics and about 5 other teams with 2 or more dominant players. It's not like those three are unbeatable or they wouldn't have had to come from behind in every series this year.

I'm more impressed with Shane Battier. The guy is playing lights out on the defensive end and keeps draining it from downtown.

I think a lot of people forget that Lebron actually took less money to go to Miami than he would've received had he stayed in Cleveland. That's what allowed them to also sign Bosh without exceeding the salary cap. The reason he left is simple: he wants a ring and he wasn't going to get one in Cleveland.

The whole reason to ball in the NBA if your a player like Lebron is to win championships. I don't fault the guy for leaving Cleveland to pursue those dreams but don't understand all the hate directed towards him for leaving there. I don't like him because he's too darn cocky but admit he's a terrific player! The guys is so strong and hard to stop. If he ever developed more range and could consistantly hit the 3 at the top of the key, he'd be impossible to guard. Now, he just takes you to the top of the key and shakes you out of your shoes towards the rim. Very impressive.

Dont we sports fans love players who are in the game to win and not for money? Well we finally got one in Lebron, he went to south beach to win not to get money, because he could have gotten alot more money in other places but instead took a pay cut to win championships.
