No when Tennessee played KY in 06 the Natural Gas theme for game was BEAT THE HEAT. I thought it was funny that same checkerboard fan pattern is used and so happened to be the Heat.

Loved Iverson and hate the way his career ended. Love watching Kobe play, simply amazing and the best player of all time IMO. Never liked Jordan. Lebron isn't nearly as clutch as any of the three players you mentioned. He's a great player but if you've watch Lebron in a close one down the stretch, he tends to choke or turn the ball over. He makes stupid decisions and plays with way to much emotion. Perfect example was the end of game 2 when Miami was only up by 2. He calls for the ball, hangs around the top of the key and then launches a shot that he has no business shooting. Thank God the refs didn't call a foul when Durant when to the rim to tie it up but he could of cost his team the game with that dumb shot. Besides Iverson, the other two can back up their cockyness with multiple titles. Iverson was just a sick PG that took it to you. The guy can do amazing things with the ball. I dont' see any of that in Lebron and wouldn't classify him with either of the three or even top 10 IMO.

Yup. I for sure stand behind that. prime vs prime...nobody touches Kobe. And I'm sure you can name 20 better players than Lebron James.

And no you can't - he will go down as top 5 all-time as long as he doesn't have some tragic injury in the next 5 years that ends his career early.

The fact anybody thinks Kobe, or anybody else in the league, is better than Jordan is laughable.

People need to layoff the whole Heat buying a championship argument because it's not going to work. Are the heat even in the top 5 total team salaries? I know Boston and LA spend more than them.

I won't comment on Iverson because I fully agree that he was just something else entirely. He was easily one of my favorite players ever and I hated to see how he went out as well.

But to think Kobe is even in the top 5 all time? That's terrible. The top 5 is sacred. Jordan, Larry, Magic, Kareem, Russel (Jordan clear number 1, the rest up for debate).

Hell, to be honest, Kobe isn't even the most historic player of his generation. That goes to Tim Duncan. Think of it like this, Kobe was drafted onto Shaq's team. Then, Shaq left and the lakers sucked with just kobe. In comes Bynum and Gasol and suddenly they are good again. Lebron's Cleveland teams were worse than Kobe's Shaqless Lakers, and they made the NBA finals to lose to the last NBA dynasty.

Jordan isn't much better off. Until he got Pippen, he was 1-9 in the playoffs. With a 2nd man they were great. With Rodman added? They were the best.

All Lebron did by going to Miami was give himself a Pippen and a Rodman, except D wade is not as good as Pippen and Bosh is not as good as Rodman.

And assuming you've watched the playoffs at all this series, you've seen Lebron has been highly clutch. Yes he missed that three in game two (and still won), but he also hit a clutch bank shot with 1:20 or so left and some clutch free throws (which by itself is astounding the way the Heat have been shooting). Check the stats and you'll see Kobe isn't even a tenth as "clutch" as most people think, and Lebron is in fact more clutch than him statistically (#1 since 2006 actually goes to Dirk)

I originally picked OKC in 6, but the way both teams are playing, Miami should win it all in 5 and Lebron will have one of the statistically best postseasons ever. And, even if they do lose it all, nobody can say it was Lebron's fault, because he has played out of his mind this season from start to finish.
