our class as of now

I think all of our prospects have distinct upside and I really don't have anyone I would WANT us to get rid of, except for maybe Matt Simms, because I feel like now we could have landed another QB that was just as good that could have been a four year player but anyway I digress.

QB's- Tyler Bray - Of course he is full of potential. He seems to have all the tools to develop into not only a solid QB, but an elite QB. The question for Tyler is how long will it take for him to grow into his frame, time will tell but I think it will be best for everyone is 2011 is his year.

Matt Simms- I feel like Matt is not going to see the field for the Vols unless something very bad happens. He was brought in because he has experience and can be an emergency option if NS doesn't work out and TB isn't ready.

FB's Channing Fugate - Just like what was said before he is a ball player. He seems like he is going to be a Wes Brown type player who just has a motor that keeps going. I do think he will end up on the offensive side of the ball and he will be a player that finds the endzone alot for us in his career.

WR's Markeith Ambles - I am super excited for Markeith, and the sky is the limit for him. He has the size, speed and route running ability to become one of the best we have had in a while. I am not on the train that he can step in and be great year one. I do think he will have an adjustment period but I think by his second year he will be ready to shine.

Kenbrell Thompkins - This guy is the WR that we will see impact us the most next year. He is already on campus, has grown into his body and has played against some collegiate competition. I think he comes in and shows athletic ability that none of our current WR's have, a mix of speed and strength that will make him very hard to cover.

Matt Milton - Can we say Red Zone weapon? He will be a player but he is another that may not see the field much this year because he may not be physically ready. If he hits the weights hard under AA then you could see him used down in the redzone alot this year, becoming our jump ball/fade specialist.

Ted Meline - I am super excited for Ted and I think he will have a BIG impact this year. If Rogan leaves look for Ted to be our new PR. He is lightening fast and has a very strong core and will be tough to tackle.

OL I am not going to lie and say I am a great evaluator of OLine talent, but I think all three of our current commits have the frame and footwork to become great Olineman, but I feel like JJ is the only one that will come in this year and contribute. He is just on another level than Fulton and especially Pair.

Dline Corey Miller - Corey is explosive and seems to have a good motor as well. I hope he doesn't come in like Ben Martin and have trouble adjusting to the college game. Getting him as an EE is key.

Brandon Willis - I feel Brandon is somewhat stuck in the middle, he is a tad to big for DE and I think he is not yet big enough to be a DT. I think he will grow into a stud DT, but I don't see him being a major factor next year.

Jac Smith - Look for Jac to become a OLB before his career is over, he is agile enough and quick enough to cover but has the strength to put on great pressure on the QB, I feel like if he works hard he could end up as good as Leonard Little ( I know extreme).

JC Copeland, Calvin Smith, John Brown - Haven't really studied them enought to give a great analysis, but I think they all will provide quality depth next year.

LB Michael Taylor - The perfect Monte Kiffin LB. Quick, smart, hits hard but tackles soundly. He will be perfect in our system and we NEED him BADLY. I don't see him coming in and starting next year, but he will be in the 2 deep.

Ralph Williams - I like Ralph and think he will be a great player. He may not have the extreme physical tools of a C Jones or J Luc but I hope we hang onto him.

DB A. Dixon - This guy excites me. He Looks to be able to cover well (in his first game experience as a corner) but also have great instinct for the ball while being able to lay the wood. I know losing Berry hurts, but I think JJ, D M JR, and AD will make us very happy at Saftey for a long time.

M Dixon - I think he will become a solid corner but I don't think he sees the field next year except in Special teams situations.

K Palardy - This kid WILL be a weapon. I think he comes in a has an impact for us day one. He absolutley booms the ball and if we can protect for him on kicks he will prove to be a great one!

Hope that wasn't too long but I am so fired up about this class I can't hide it!

I viewed Fugate's game films on YouTube early last year and have been drooling ever since. I knew the moment I saw him that he was the real deal. I was more impressed by this kids highlights than any before or since that day. White or black, you know a REAL football player when you see him. He is a BEAST. I hope the coaches are smart enough to keep him on offense. I am shocked that he is rated so low; that might have been a good thing too. I was hoping no one would steal him away because one look at him and his potential leaps out at you. He will stand tall on either side of the ball. We will be hearing his name quite often; bank on it. Go Vols!!!!!

I really enjoyed this post. I think if we do not hang onto R. Williams you will be pleasantly surprised who replaces him.

1. Use paragraphs.
2. Might as well say it, you think Fugate is Jacob Hester's long lost brother.
3. I am glad somebody else isn't over-looking Milton. He's been getting very little love now that talks of Prater have come up again. Milton is going to be a great WR.
4. Michael Taylor wasn't in San Antonio.

1. Thanks for the english lesson. Use less douchbaggery.
2. San Antonio, Orlando...same thing.
