These attest to our incredible ineptitude in all facets of the defensive game. Out of 120 teams we are:

90th in rushing defense (13th in SEC)
91st in pass efficiency defense (10th)
97th in sacks (14th)
107th in scoring defense (14th)
112th in total defense (14th)
115th in pass defense (14th)

that is absolutely inexcusable... defensive staff needs a complete overhaul at the end of the season period at the very least..

I want to know which 4 SEC teams are worse in pass efficiency defense than us. I don't see how that's possible.

That's why it has been funny to read posts that are confident and guarantee they will win out and go to a bowl game. It's possible, but they will have to score a ton of points and get lucky to win 2 of the next 3 - all SEC teams.

Gave up 721 yards to Troy. A 4 win Sunbelt conference team. Troy. Really?

Hard to believe this same bunch was inside the top 30 last year.. Pretty much the same players too.. We all know why Sal had been coaching linebackers now..

Yeah well typically you don't replace 7 coaches during the off season.. Most of us without big orange blinders knew that wouldn't be a good deal.. Rats jumping ship...

Funny thing is we are #12 in the country and #1 in the SEC in Passing offense.

i really would love to see what the tennessee offense looks like against the defense in practice.

how they play on saturday can't be too shocking. this has to show up in practice.

i wonder if anyone really tries to cover hunter or patterson.

it truly is amazing that the tennessee offense is as good as it is with no one to push them in practice

There is no excuse for this!!!!

9 of our 11 starters were at least 4 star players when they came out of high school or JC.


Poor Coaching and Player Development

Time for a coaching change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
