starters A.J.Johnson, Curt Maggitt and whoever between LaTroy Lewis, Bynum, Sapp or possibly even Corey Vereen since he is an EE.

Jalen Reeves-Maybin is a possibility but he will need to add some weight.

Also have Christian Harris, Crump, Fugate and Greg King but that's a wish and a prayer. It will be interesting to see if Justin King moves over or stays with the offense. Also I know it's a stretch but if Tom Smith isn't going to see the field at RB lets see if he can tackle somebody.

Obviously not great but we do have some possibilities and a few bodies.

LB is probably the weakest link on the team - they were atrocious last year - no speed to get to the edge, no ability to get off blocks - i know we want to blame it all on Sal but how fast they run and how they can get off a block is more a natural ability and not dependent on scheme

Llewis won't be at LB - also if we had actually pulled some LB's this class wouldnt have surprised me to see CM move down to DE as well

But, but, but Jones walked into a MUCH better situation than Dooley did? Dooley left Jones a stacked roster. Just ask Oskie and some of the other worshipers of the Orange pants...
I don't know how well Jones will do at UT. But I'm confident that he's at least a solid coach and will do much better than the blithering idiot con man he replaced.

We need to clean house and kick off a lot of these bodies that are not players and free up some scholarships to sign more over the next two years. We don't need eight + secondary players that can't play.

I hope that Vol fans will give this Coach more than three years to turn it around.....

I just hope that they at least let him have one official spring practice before they say how sorry he is and how bad a coach he is. Some people need to get their head out of the sand and realize we are not the team we were in the 90's and early 00's. With 4 losing seasons out of the last 5 and 3 coaching changes in the last 5 years it's going to take winning with lesser players and winning often before those STAR players will take a serious look at coming to Tennessee. Once the winning starts you will see that happen. The main thing needed right now is coaching stability, not changing coaches every couple of years

A lot on here already want him gone. :disappointed:

You are correct. The worshipers of the Orange pants club are all about it. What's funny is they agrue that Dooley didn't have enough time but less than 35 days of recruiting is more than enough time for Jones.

My prediction is this, if we have a better season than I or many think the Orange pants club will give the credit to Dooley.
