depends on who the qb's are, imo, once the talent base is leveled a little. Even though it's early on, I like where we are at qb compared to fla over the next 2-3 years.

UT needs to have an advantage at QB in the short term until they can even the talent level out more. They should have it against a few teams. Will be interesting to see how much.

its a qb league. Some say defensive of course with Bama but bama's qb play the last few years has been incredible really. Steady, leaders, throw it downfield, hit the TE, check to running plays, check to correct runs, lack of turnovers. Tebow made UF and they haven't been the same since. Hell, Urban knew what was up, cried and left. Manziel has made A & M. LSU has had qb issues and it holds them back. We have had ****. Bray could sling it and played for a **** coach, but he wasn't going to take a team anywhere. Murray has saved Richt his job each year. Shaw makes SC. Auburn qb makes Auburn.
We need a difference maker back there to win again. Once the defensive talent rises, it won't be enough unless we have it at qb. Not sure on Dobbs yet, though I think with a year or two under his belt that he could be a qb that wins a couple of games for you. Depends on bajak, faster rbs, and more outside skill.

Agree totally. The way football is evolving in both pro and college, high caliber QB play is absolutely necessary for team to succeed. It's necessary but not sufficient.

Butch and Bajay have a decent track record with QBs.

Muschamp is 3-0 vs the Vols.

So is just about everyone else. It isn't saying much at this point.

I like our chances going forward with Muschamp, but I'll believe it when I see it. Really hope they don't hire another Meyer.

We are relevant at the moment only because we suck.

So, what's the atmosphere like in Gatorland? How badly do people hate Muschamp? I get kinda giddy thinking about it. It's hard to justify firing a man that got 11 wins last year and had a shot at the NC game, but this year has just been a dumpster fire and a half for the Gators.
