and it looked worse when nervous nate came in. it was bad all game long dont get me wrong but not near as bad with worley in. They couldnt hold the blocks too long and nate daddy held the ball for 10 minutes.

Amazing how worley makes them just look bad. Nate made them look like eighth grade.

What's the over/under on the number of games Worley will play this year before he gets knocked out for the season?

It's already been said twice but I think it needs repeating. All 5 are new starters. 3 are true freshman. The majority of them haven't even had a year in the S&C program.

The OC should realize his line is getting whipped and bring in extra blockers or roll out his QB.

Yes, they are bad. But, notice how good they looked in the first two series with scripted plays. The ball came out quick. Whenever they tried to look down field, which as way too often, the O-line couldn't hold up. Listen, they could do more things to help out this young O-line and they aren't. for example, when NP came in for his 2nd series, they call two passing plays where he is having to look down field. Stupid. Then he has a 3rd and 10 and the D just pins its ears back. NP can run, so why not roll him out, or call a QB draw. Give him some confidence. UT finally ran a WR screen that made a good gain, but don't know if they called it again. Bajakian is obsesses with throwing the deep sideline route and it's obvious that this isn't Worley's forte. But Worley does throw well on the slant and drag routes. Bajakian is making this a lot harder on the O-line and his QB.

Wait? I thought some of you idiots thought our oline would miraculously get better with an off week.

Honestly I don't care how young you are. We can be an 8-4 team if they take their panties off and put on some big boy pants.

I hope they get better quick for all of our QB's health. I don't think Godzilla at QB could survive the season the way our guys are getting destroyed back there. Worley is an absolute warrior!

After a great game, where we would have probably won if Worley doesn't get hit on his elbow, I can't believe someone would start a thread with that title. The ol is getting better. We new that we would have issues there this year. Why don't the op leave the site and come back in two years, because you must be a fair weather fan. Unreal. You make me embarrasssed for our players to read this thread.

And they will have had a year's experience under their belts... Experience does a lot as a lineman.

So does talent.. OUR center and LT who has been in the program for years.. ARE pathetic. Mack Crowder should become a bull fighter as he lets the bull rush go by every time.

are they young and good or young and not good?

True freshman O-Line are rarely ever good. First-time starters also take a while to get in gear.

We have a nasty, sinister combination of both of those scenarios to deal with, and we just put up 32 on the #12 team in the country at their place.

They aren't that bad, they definitely improved from the OU game, and I thought they got better as this game went along.
