I agree with BTO. Providence is in. The Big East had a good shot of getting either Providence or St. John's, and Providence proved it.

I am pretty sure the committee will have to do something they has hardly ever been done- leave out a major conference team at a 41 RPI, if they left us out.

It seems you find him unbearable because he actually knows what he is talking about, and what he knows conflicts with your gut feel opinion.

I think we take a much harder fall now that Providence wins. It may or not boost Xavier over us now.

Before that.. according to the Nitty Gritty report and Lunardi bracke.. the 11th seed was TN, SMU, Xavier, and Nebraska/Providence .

I still think Nebraska will be the play in team with either TN or Xavier now.

Well, uh, yeah obviously. But a number of services had us as one of the safer bubble teams that year.

My point mostly was that we're not safe by any means this year. Every year a team or two makes that doesn't deserve to, and several services have us in the Last 4 In, which means we're one of the teams that could get bumped for a Southern Miss, NC State, etc.

But Joey Brackets has been on it lately so I hope he's right.
