Our Schedule Has to Set Some Kind of Record

After playing such a hard schedule if TN could some how get to a bowl, any team TN would likely face would seem like an easy match up at that point.

After facing Mariota, any DT QB should've seemed like they were going in slow motion but UF's QB made play after play....

VOLS play the number one and two teams in the country. You don't even do that when you go bowling.

Florida plays the SEC east plus LSU, plus Miami, plus FSU.
Georgia plays the SEC east plus LSU, plus Auburn, plus Clemson.

Those are tough schedules but ours is still tougher than Ga. Us playing them made our schedule harder, them playing us made theirs weaker. Plus, while they got Clemson and LSU, we got Oregon and Bama. Comparable, but ours is a little tougher IMO.

Yes it truly is a gauntlet of good teams. If you are expecting anyone in the country to play the violin for us you are $hi+ out of luck too.

The first part of this is sad but true.

I find it humorous that Bama only has 2 ranked teams on their schedule this year. If they had our schedule, they might lose a couple

OR, Bama and AUB, 1, 2, and top 25.

If we continue to improve, we actually have a chance to run the table minus the Alabama game.

Record? lololololol If we were any good, our schedule wouldn't look so daunting.

Ya' think?

So if we were better, it would change the fact that we play more ranked teams than anyone else in the conference and possibly the nation? Makes sense.

I've also seen a bunch of people saying, "Welcome to the SEC." Well, yes, this is why our schedule is so difficult, but I honestly don't think I've seen one as difficult as ours looks at this point in time.

Valid points; but, Miami and FSU have been down the past several years and Auburn has been down except for the anomaly year. Clemson has only become a factor the past two years with Tahj Boyd coming into prominence. The trend, I believe, is starting to swing again. Florida will have at least three games in the coming years that will make or break their season and effect their recruiting...Tennessee, Miami and FSU. There seems to be a bell curve in play of ascension, success and decline. It appears to have a time frame of about 20 years. I believe that we are beginning to ascend again and I believe that Florida is beginning to decline. Miami and FSU are, also, ascending. My views are empirical not scientific. I guess we will find out.
