Outback Bowl Auburn vs Wisconsin

getting a little worried about Iowa now -- Auburn losing to a slow Wisconsin team - SMH - seems none of the SEC teams are playing defense in all these losses -- UT better be ready

Iowa's starting RB probably couldn't walk on at Wisconsin. Gordon is a beast.

Auburn and Miss State have killed my bowl picks. With $300 on the line I try to pick with my head and not emotions. Bama and Mizzou better come through.

Barry stole a page out of Bill Snyder's game plan. There's a reason why he's one of the best.

If Bama loses Saban will have a stroke on the sideline - I think he wants this title more than the last ones.

but Bama needed the refs help to beat them

Bama also had a messy game that day.

LSU's defense also gave up almost 30 points to a Driskel-led, Muschamp-coaches UF team.

(Not to mention, though, that LSU's QB play all season was equally bad, if not worse.)

Gus Malzahn laid an egg on the play calling in OT!!! Still baffles me that 2 plays in a row you don't even attempt to throw it at least 8 yards down the field?? Wild how football has changed since I played in the early 80's, old school football still gets it done!!!!

LSU's defense was poor most of the season.

LSU had a top 11 overall defense and top 6 scoring defense. Their rush defense was average, especially for a typical LSU defense. Ole Miss and Freeze are the one's who should really be asking themselves the tough questions.

Mullen too - they had a month to prep for the GT O - big fail IMO

About 50th in rush defense, though.

Sorry, poor wasn't the proper term, but it wasn't fantastic/up to the reputation people give them.

But QB play was easily their biggest issue.

I think a lot of it with these SEC teams this year is psychological. So many of them were hyped to take down BAMA and when it didn't work out they just appear to be under-motivated-like Auburn, Miss St., Miss, LSU. Plus, their opponent really want to knock off an SEC team so they're over motivated.

Over motivated? Is that a thing?
