You aren't going to win any game giving up 23 offensive rebounds. Plain and simple. Its embarrassing, rebounding is about effort, doesn't matter the size.

All of this spit doesn't matter, it was atrocious either way. Also, can’t turn the ball over with poor passes. Oy, tough to watch. Jus’ turrrrible

Don’t understand why Barnes and his staff wouldn’t complain to the refs about a three second violation on every single possession by the Aggies! They lived in the lane when they were on offense. Literally could’ve called a three second violation on every single possession. How in the world does this get overlooked?

It’s a lot easier to get offensive rebounds when you’re breaking the rules and just hanging out underneath the basket illegally.

Fulkerson and Pons have out of necessity been playing the 5 and 4. Plavsic has shown no ability to board with the limited time he has played thus far. Next year we may have the same issue on the glass despite the athletes we have recruited. We still need that big body, for rebounding, setting screens, shot blocking and clearing out space. For a good as Grant Williams was last year, he was very good with the “dirty work” as well.

Sounds like politics in Washington around here, can't even agree on printed facts. We lost, end of story.I don't care what caused it,let Barnes worry about it!!

I know, he’s quite a contributor. For that matter, our entire bench is pretty pathetic
He only played 2 minutes. This loss isn't on him. It's on the rest of the team that thought they could coast on this one. Like florida tonite who dropped theirs to Miss st.

They’re also all freshman. I’d be more upset with the poor rebounding from our upperclassmen Yves and John and the poor shooting/dumb turnovers from our senior Jordan

I don't have much confidence in Barnes at the moment. Tennessee needs some front court size bad. With any kind of size Tennessee wins the last two. Tennessee has some good players coming in next year. However no size. What happened the last two games may continue for a while.

My thoughts EXACTLY! Barnes has failed miserably at roster management and recruiting SIZE! Barnes is a good guy and a decent coach, but I really wish we had better. We've more than likely seen the best he'll do here. Dont hold your breathe for a bunch of freshman next year. Our 5 stars usually end up playing like 2 stars.

I thought A&M rebounding was a combination of we didn't box out and when we did it seemed the ball would come off the rim right to one of their guys. Also when it did come to our guys we could not make a clean catch they were contesting everything and we were soft. Since the SEC doesn't call 3 seconds unless you're in there over 5 A&M took a chance & camped out and had the correct refs that let it happen.
That was how I seen it A&M played the game within a game and won. It was a ugly win.... banking in FT's, throwing up desperate 3's as clock runs out. and if UT won it would have been ugly too maybe uglier.

Thats 34, either way 21 rebounds isnt going to win many games.
