KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee students set a record Thursday by requesting more tickets than ever before for a Vols football game. More than 18,000 students requested tickets for the Tennessee-Austin Peay game, 6,500 more than the student section will even fit.

This is really a very interesting dilemma. When each of you saw yesterday that Oregon blasted some unknown community college with 81 points on the board, do you think more or less of the Oregon program and especially, the coaching staff? At some point, more points is losing points, IMO. Bush league. 50-60 points is enough of a statement, so hoping/trusting that Coach Hype and his staff play w decorum.

I could care less about the feelings of the media or the other fanbase if you’re talking about that as decorum. Doesn’t do anything for us. We should continue to execute our offense with backups instead of just running time off the clock.

I rather get the 2s and 3s playing time vs AP rather than scoring 60+ points.

I would hope the 2s and 3s at Tennessee could score against a team that just got stomped by Southern Illinois.

Heup will put up enough to impress any dumb poll voters who like big numbers and then call off the dogs, like he took it easy on UTM last year. No one wants to humiliate an in-state FCS school.

I took the over because CJH actually let's the 2nd and 3rd team QBs run the offense when they get in the game; most likely mid 3rd Qtr of this one. Remember Milton getting the opportunity to throw some bombs on the likes of Akron and Missouri last year? Some Clemson and Vandy stuff in this one but I expect Nico to get his first, second, and maybe even 3rd TD pass in next weeks game. GBO!!
