Yes. We will sign at max 27. I see us only signing 26 players. That's why you are starting to see defections happen. I just don't see them taking many if any academic casualties. They will let those guys go and worry about who they can get in school NOW and let the other guys roam free, IMO. They will still recruit those guys, but not as hard. Look at last year's class. Everyone in school but 1. That's the trend will we see in the future.

We have around 16 solid commitments. The soft's will probably not stick, IMO.

Ok, I see what you are saying now. You think we let the 4 or 5 academic underachievers go? I could see that and only signing 26...

I kept getting confused cuz we already have so many commitments and you keep saying we only sign 26...

Yeah, but you guys were focusing on the number too much and people actually thought we could get 30 into school, Which is something I knew wasn't true, but other's didn't understand.

Gotcha. Next time, when the board starts arguing over this again, make it clear that you think we will have 4 or 5 decommitments before you say we will only sign 26...:good!:

my guess is delvin jones, broussard, ralph williams, possibly. some say ted meline but i dont think so.

jc copeland? not much info. we will see if number of dl commits becomes a problem(miller,willis,copeland,harris,brown,...)

I believe we can sign two midtermers and backcount them, then by rule we can accept 28 LOIs of which only 25 can enter next August on scholarship, provided we have space with the 85 rule. Now we have 80 scholarshiped players with 17 seniors and EB probably being gone.
