Marvelous Monday the debut of the science fiction crime drama tv show on Fox APB set in Chicago.
Also I'll be eating for dinner Gino's East genuine Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.

Plus plenty of time to workout before the tv show airs.
Plus the weather is cool in Omaha so I won't be feeling cold when walking a long distance to my car.

This past Friday the 13th, my 80 yo mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The spot was found during a mammogram and confirmed as cancer with a biopsy.

A week later, aftet a full body CT scan, the doctor noticed something on a lymph node under her right arm. He said he would remove it and test it during her breast surgery this past Tuesday. The small breast lump was removed and thw lymph was found to be non-cancerous. No chemo required. However, she must have a short series of radiation treatments.

My personal out look on life is, any day you wake up is a good day! Today, well, is an extra special day for the family.

I wanted to share this as proof there is hope when the diagnosis is less than favorable.

Too many in my family have been similarly afflicted with breast cancer - 3 survivors to date. My mother has had two bouts with it. Came out of both feisty as ever. A best friend from college is also a survivor. Lost a dear friend and fellow skydiver to the disease in 2005...

Glad for your good news, mal. Prayers and positive energy to your mother.
