Great weather in Omaha the warm weather so I'll be wearing shorts this week most likely most days pf Monday to Sunday.

How terrific all that is left for Lyft to start working as a lyft driver is to pass the background check.
I passed the 1 for Uber so no doubt not a problem. It started Monday I see it could be 48 hours or as high as 2 weeks.
Lyft driver is the same as uber driver a independent contractor job.

It'll be great if it's 48 hours or less than 48 hours because if that happens I could start working this week. Start making money, save up for the copyright money, money for terrific running shoes more than just 1 pair, more movies, a scrapbook for movie tickets, etc.

Also I'll be celebrating by eating dinner at Icehouse.

Happy Wonderful Wednesday

A new episode of the hillarious sitcom Schitts Creek on tonight with Alexis the daughter going back to High School for the purpose to finish High School.

Also my lyft application is approved so I can start making money by giving rides as a Lyft driver.

In 1972, I accompanied friends to the CanAm race at Road Atlanta. Jan took a bunch of pictures. The following year, she submitted her best pics with an entry for each of us to win pit passes. We all did! At the 1973 Road Atlanta CanAm, I walked pit row at night, the day before the race. The crew working on the Shadow Car let me sit in it!

The 1973 race was dominated by the Porsche 917 variants. Donohue had the best times, fastest lap, and poll position. During the race, he had to pit, and Follmer got out in front of him. Donohue couldn't get around him, and they finished 1-2, milliseconds apart. Both lapped the entire field. Jody Scheckter finished 3rd. Driven by legendary Jackie Oliver, the Shadow Car dropped out with mechanical issues after only 11 laps.

Brit, David Hobbs drove the McLaren M20 and finished 4th, 3 laps behind Follmer & Donohue. The field was thick with previously dominant McLaren M8s. The best finish for one of those was 9th, 16 laps back.

Didn't get to see Mario Andretti race. His McLaren M20 had engine trouble and missed the start.

I couldn't do anything but walk. :( I really thought I was going to be able to do the running. It feels the worst when I first wake up. I'm afraid it's just age. 😣

Good morning it's a Thursday.
The day before Friday that because of that I've mistakenly thought it was Friday in the past.

No doubt others have for the same reason.

Well a decent 1st day as a Lyft driver.
4 rides and 31.43 made.

I did two miles on the bike, and one on the treadmill. My leg feels like it's on fire now from where it broke down into my foot. It does it all the time, but I can't just not ever try again. I'm a whiny little guy. Haha

Not having an actually injury (like you did), it's hard for me to figure out how far to push it. I don't want to do any damage obviously, but I don't want to slack off and not get the benefits either.
