After two mornings of oatmeal for breakfast, I indulged in apple slices with peanut butter this morning.
My post-biopsy diet has been restricted to foods that are easily digested and passed. Apples are fibrous and shouldn’t be a problem.
@VolNExile, I’ll answer your question, here. The procedure took six “core samples” from each side of my prostate. The devices included an imaging probe shaped like a large phallus with a guide for the extractor of the samples. It was larger than a phlebotomy needle.
Entry was through the colon. Numbing gel and local anesthetic were applied. Given male human anatomy, one can expect some blood in the urethra and stool for a few days. I’m monitoring this as instructed. I’m fine with what is occurring presently and am prepared with instructions and contact information should abnormal events occur.
