A number of things have woken me in the dark. This time, it was the old cat yowling. She may be mostly deaf, but she can sense when you’re transitioning from deep to shallow sleep. “Get up! Get up! Feed me treats! No, I don’t really want to have anything to do with you, now that you’re up, but I did get you up. So there.”

Could be you need a new training regimen for your feline.
