Good morning y'all. My weather report says it's snowing in Nashville & 26 degrees....but nada at our place 20 miles west of downtown Nashville.

Same for Nashville. Not heavy yet, but ground is getting slightly blanketed. Morning walk is on hold (probably for the day).

Good Saturday morn y'all. 26 degrees & 4" of snow in Nashville.

We had snow start to cover the ground, but it quickly washed off with the sleet and freezing rain. Rocky's run around in the backyard this morning was a little crunchy.

31 degrees, presently. The pavement is damp but not icy. The snow has been compacted by sleet and freezing drizzle on the lawn. Tree branches are coated in ice. My old redbud tree fell over, partly exposing its roots. When the weather clears, I will cut back the main trunk and attempt to right it, burying the exposed roots and staking it. Hopefully, it will survive and continue to grow in the Spring.
