OWS finally shows its true colors

Cool, but I still don't know what you mean by showing its true colors. And OWS doesn't like Obama and it's been made pretty public about it.

Where did that come from?

I like your sig line, I'm fond of quoting that one myself.

I live two blocks from the former site of Occupy Portland, went down and chatted with dozens of them over a number of occasions and I can assure you not one of them will be an Obama vote in the coming election.

That's good news, thanks!

gs,
I think I have figured out why you post all the cartoons.

It's to make it more difficult to quote you for replies, isn't it? I mean, it takes so much time to go in and filter all of it out to get to the two or three things that you actually say (who knows, you may say more but it gets lost in the clutter) that so often no one will take the time to do it. I know that I myself have avoided quoting you for that very reason and once I thought about it, I realized that people quote you a lot more when you leave them out.

Am I right?

True conservatives like Ron Paul do try to limit government growth.

Ron Paul?

He's a total whackadoo who would leave America undefended. He is not a conservative. And neither are you, if you support him.

But don't worry, the grownups will again right the ship. For now, you can keep marching with OWS with the rest of the paulbots.

'neocons'

lol...you sound like an obama voter. Oh wait, you probably DID vote for Obama, didn't you?

Are you capable of differentiating between America and Europe or America and Korea or American and Japan?

If so, then you know that reducing MILITARY spending will in no way compromise DEFENSE spending.

If you can't, then go ahead and think that removing our bases from Korea makes us less safe.

You're an idiot. True conservatives are for small government in all areas. Neocons, such as yourself, willingly surrender liberties in the name of "national defense." Neocons, unlike true conservatives, also like government to legislate morality.

It's funny that you call me a "paulbot" because I reject the ****ty status quo that people such as yourself willingly wallow in. Youve been indoctrinated with the idea that your only choice is to vote for a Gingrich or a Romney.

And, no, I didn't vote for Obama. I voted for McCain because I didn't know any better. Back then I thought Paul was crazy. I'm happy to say I've since had a political reawakening and will never again vote for a McCain, Gingrich, Romney, etc.

I haven't voted democrat for president, although I am known to locally. I am that crazy kind of voter that votes on the person rather than the party. I can see why you may find that weird. And while I am thinking about it, unless something near-miraculous happens, I won't vote for Ron Paul either.

Thankfully, Ron Paul is now in last place among the remaining 'contenders' for the nomination.

It looks like we're seeing his ACTUAL level of support now, instead of the bot support he has.

He has 4 of the 76 delegates so far awarded.

A bit over 5 percent. Sounds about right. Ron paul is being rejected by conservatives, and that's a good thing. Too bad for you OWS paultards that internet bots can't vote.

Actually, he has 10 delegates.

And don't be surprised when your guy loses to Obama this fall.

Where in NYC was this? If it was Manhattan, that's because Manhattan is populated by rich people. People in Manhattan that aren't rich probably got there by train from Jersey, the Bronx and Brooklyn.

I believe it was in an especially rich part of Manhattan. My sister actually lives in Manhattan but it's not very nice (Washington Heights).

Using the commerce clause to make pot smoking illegal or outlawing internet gambling are hardly overriding progressive issues. That's your moral majority in the conservative movement right there.

It isn't a party issue, its a power issue and every politician wants more of it.

Thomas Woods made the point that the constitution is a list of things the federal government is permitted to do. If any part of the constitution is read so broadly that it renders the rest of the constitution meaningless, it's being interpreted incorrectly. That happens to be how we interpret both the commerce clause and the general welfare clause.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear I guess. (I knew what I meant, just get inside my head and all will be clear... and scary :p )

I was trying to make the point that spending money on bases in Korea (for example) is military spending, but it isn't defense spending. There is a difference. We can cut our military spending in half and still have enough to defend our nation. The problem is we are spending to defend relatively rich countries. We are maintaining bases around the world. Bases that do not make us safer and therefore are not defensive but are simply military spending.

I see a huge difference between Obama and any of the 4 candidates left in the GOP primaries. Out of the 5 of them, only Obama willingly bows to foreign leaders. Only Obama thinks it "fair" to raise Warren Buffet's tax rate but doesn't think it fair, or even moral, to lower the rate paid by Buffet's secretary. Only Obama would appoint 30+ unaccountable czars and only Obama would stand idly by while his EPA secretary circumvents Congress to pass clean air rules that do nothing but destroy jobs.

and so on.

There are differences on specifics. In general, there are more similarities than differences.

More government. More debt. More military deployments that are not aimed at our safety. Less freedom.

Obama wants to rearrange the deckchairs on the forward part of the Titanic. Most of the GOP leadership wants to rearrange the deckchairs on the aft part of the Titanic. Either way, the ship is going down unless someone can figure out how to patch the hull and it doesn't seem like anyone with any chance wants to address how to do that.

It makes not a difference to me whether Obama or Romney/Gingrich wins the election.

Oh right, they're 'all the same', right? That's exactly what Obama voters say when they see their guy going down.

You're just a plant trying to make people not vote. Another paultard OWS Obama-voter.

Wikipedia? Really? Youre going to try to use Wikipedia (which can be edited by anyone) as a source, and think you won't get called on it?

Sorry, gumby. In the real world, if you can't find a better 'source' than Wikipedia, go ahead and assume you're wrong (which you are).

Paul has THREE delegates, actually, not four. My bad.

First, lol@you lumping paulies and obama votes together. Reality called, it misses you.

Also, wikipedia can be edited by anyone. It also features these things called footnotes in which people put up citations. Try it out sometime.

You were doing the same thing earlier, claiming that OWS were NOT only Obama voters, but mainly ron paul voters.

It's funny to see you arguing with yourself.

No thanks, I'll stick with actual news outlets.
