Man, it's stuff like this..........makes you remember that the world is not such a bad place sometimes after all

Never met LondonVol (and most likely never will-given distances, etc) but yet I am so very very happy for him.

The things we take for granted in our day to day lives can mean so much to someone else.

Well done LV

Thank you LondonVol for your unwavering support of the Big Orange. It’s fans like LV that keep me coming back to VolNation and finally manning up to create an account after 15 years of lurking.

Whilst I really appreciate the kind words, it is I who are so thankful to be “adopted” by the best sports fans anywhere, any sport.
my wife always said “never show them what you look like, it is better for them to imagine you before the car accident than see you after it😉” and don’t mention politics (so somebody will need to get me drunk first) but I’m glad you now know what London Vol looks like.
Back to more important matters ‘the band’ they were so impressive yesterday not only in their resplendent uniforms, especially the lady conductor, but they were very professional in their playing, these guys and gals must practice hours and hours and they deserve all the credit you can give them

Thanks for sharing @ LondonVol.

If you can make it to TN then let me know. My wife doesn’t go to the games so you can have my extra ticket- NO charge/ even if it’s for UGA or another big game.

I am touched and overwhelmed by the generosity and all the lovely comments for the Vols fans, and it is so kind of you regarding your spare ticket vol94. When circumstances allow us, we will come to Knoxville and meet you all, but in the meantime I will still be with you all each game starting in 64 days when we are going 1-0.

Sounds good. My wife and I live in Nashville, TN which is three hrs from UT. Let me know if you ever make it to TN. I know it’s an expensive flight

If some of you folks that may have connections into the Tennessee AD DON'T reach out and get this young man over here...for a game at Neyland...

you are WORTHLESS...Capisce?

I'm jealous. When I was in POTS, we never got to go to London.

Hope they had fun and gave a good concert. Would have been cool to do a stadium show and do a halftime performance for the crowd.

I like all of your post especially the young bit, or to be accurate 62 years young

Here is the Facebook link:

I cracked up when they got into “In the Air Tonight”, with the crash cymbals as the high hat (which was actually a drum machine in the original). “Blinding Light” hadn’t been written back when I was in the band and it’s been in a Super Bowl halftime show now, I liked that cover.
