I think we'll get him. Opportunity to play early, apparently distance does not appear to be a factor, he's had a good relationship with Shoop since his time at PSU, and we're the most ready to compete team out of his top 3. We have a lot more working in our favor than Penn State and Pitt imo.

He was running a lot to maintain a heavy weight in HS. Kinda knew if he had to do that much for maintenance there would be problems. Then he didn't look elite to me in the All-Star games.

Derrick Green was overrated in high school and it translated into college. The end. Now back to Wade. :)

At the cornerback spot, the Vols still seem to treat that as a major position of need. The three that we believe Tennessee has highest on its board right now continue to be Lamont Wade, Yusuf Corker and Chris Henderson.

Tennessee seems to have some real momentum with Wade, but the question will be can they sustain that momentum over the next eight weeks before his Dec. 17 announcement.

Wade will see Penn State two more times before then and will likely see Pitt, Tennessee's two biggest competitors in this race. But, at this point, Wade isn't ruling out one more unofficial visit to Knoxville which would be big.

Wade was visiting Penn State for the upset of Ohio State, any update on how that visit went?

Hopefully he realizes it was a fluke and Franklin will be gone soon...

PSU could lose the rest of their games this season and Franklin will go nowhere. He is probably safe for this ahd next year.

Don't totally count out Pitt here. Think Vols in best position right now regardless."

IMO we are a lock for Wade, obviously distance isnt a issue since hes came here on his own dime multiple occasions. We are the BIGGEST stage to play on, and he has a chance to come in here and start next season. PSU might gain momentum, but that place is a s*** hole. Ive driven by there a few times. Its in a garbage town 5 miles from a state prison. if you as me Knoxville is the place to be (typing this with my orange glasses on) :)
