We get Corker and Butler and I'm satisfied with this class...would have liked to have had another RB and DT but no use tossing scholys on guys that can't play in the SEC
Yeah, I see what you're saying. We don't necessarily need another RB. We will have 4 for next season anyhow. Kelly, Chandler, Coleman, & Fils-Aime.
I got a feeling either Fils-Aime or Coleman won't stay here though & that would leave us with 3 RB's. That's why I say we need to go after either Etienne or Felix since it appears Akers is out of question now. Not quite 100% but as close as we can get to it.
And, yes definitely we need to get Corker as a DB. The other areas of need would be certainly DL and/or LB. We need one more each at least from those two positions in my opinion. I also wouldn't care to have one more OL.
T.J. Moore went from a basic lock to us to now not looking like we're taking him. 4 OL I guess will do for this one class but I always like to have 5-6 from every class because you can never have enough of them. We also have Nick White coming in as a Preferred walk-on as well so in reality we will have 5 OL.
Fils-Aime is tight with the Jones family and Tyler Byrd, he seems to love Knoxville and UT. Don't think we have to worry about him, plus I think he's good enough to earn some PT.
From Corey Bender:
Five-star CB Lamont Wade said he shut down contact with all schools and is set to enroll at Penn State in early January:
"Everything died down. With me enrolling early, it is a little bit of weight off my shoulders. Everything is going smooth and I'm getting ready to transition into college."
Mentioned as a comparable to a great of the past. This is his opinion and he's entitled, but I'm sorry, there is only one Eric Berry. Same goes for AJ Green to which he compared Tee Higgins to.
Lamont Wade Eric Berry This made be a weird one for many because Berry was bigger and longer, but there is something about the way Wade plays that reminds me of Berry when he was a high school player. Both are around the ball all the time, they are leaders and they love to hit. Berry had an amazing career at Tennessee and obviously now in the NFL and I can see Wade doing some great things as well.-Scout

Fils-Aime is the #2 RB going into Spring. People are trying to write him off just a little too quickly. He had a grand total of 14 carries this season. I like Chandler, but I don't think he is just going to waltz in and take over the #2 spot. JMO
People don't give CFA credit around here. Guy is a perfect fit for this offense and he reps the university really well.
He's going to be good as well. It's like people that thought Chandler would start as a freshman until they saw Kelly in action.
I think he couldn't help but be impressed by the way Penn State DBs turned their heads to find the ball against USC.
Really? Did you watch the game? They were called for pass interference twice in the last few minutes because the guy wouldn't turn his head back to look for the ball. A big factor in why they lost the game.
It was obvious pass interference too. Nothing nit picky about the calls.
