I hope you didn't put too much money on that parlay. I didn't pic the Pac-10 to go undefeated, but I did pick against you on all those games.
Generally speaking, any level-headed college football fan will tell you over time the SEC is the best there is.
While Alabama and likely Florida are better than any Pac-10 teams save possibly Oregon, there a throng of Pac-10 teams that would have finished 2nd in either of the SEC's divisions. You have to admit that the SEC is relatively weak this year behind the two division winners. Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc. seem to be a big jumble of mediocrity at best this year. Some non-con showings good (Georgia and USCjr beating GaTech and Clemson) and others not so much (UCLA beating us, Georgia's game at Okie Lite).
It's subjective and I don't think it's possible to say one conference is undoubtedly better than the other this year. Long term, you give the SEC the nod, as I said.
The other thing I've noticed traveling about the country (and I've managed to make it to Big 12 and SEC country quite a bit) is that many will be quick to opine on the quality of Pac-10 football when in reality they watch maybe one or two Pac-10 games a year.
