Pac 12 Championship (ABC)

West Coast sports commentators blaming scheduling Auburn for PAC 12 not being in playoff. A few years ago, Baylor and TCU were getting the door slammed in their faces for a weak ooc schedule. Now people think a weak ooc schedule is the ticket in? I don't get it. With all respect to the personal integrity of the people on the committee, I really think it comes down to maximizing television viewership and, to a lesser extent, ticket sales. They figure out what's likely to make the most money and then backfill whatever justifications they can come up with.

Oregon isn't backing off on tough non-conference opponents starting with a home and home with Ohio State next year. Then I think they have home and home with Georgia after that. I think one problem for the PAC-12 is that they play 9 conference games.
