Well, aint a whole lot of boxing fans out there anymore, and probably for a good reason. But, one of the shining stars lately is Manny Pacquiao. He has a big fight coming up against Miguel Cotto in Vegas. This is the fight that sets up the BIG fight everyone is looking to...Pacquio/Mayweather. I think everyone wants to see that, but Cotto is no joke.

Saying that I thought Ricky Hatton was no joke either, and look what Manny did to him. So, who do you all got on the fight????

Manny, and not close. Cotto is talented but soft, just like Tito. He simply doesnt deal well with getting hit and positioning himself to keep opposing punch angles controlled. Not a good fight for him at all against a fighter with stopping power with both hands.

Agreed. I am not ever picking anybody against Manny again. He has alot of power. Even the money Mayweather fight.

I went back and watched that fight a few months back and was again suprised at how great it was. Manny probably did enough to win, but I see where folks would say Marquez had the fight. I know Manny says he is never fighting him again!! Think he is hittin his peak right now.

And I am a big Freddie Roach fan. He prepares his fighters great.

Right up the road tonight in Hartford on HBO, the Fighting Pride of New Haven, Chad Dawson, vs Glen Johnson, for the Light Heavyweigt Championship, Ring Magazine (real) version.

Dawson by TKO with a clean sheet on the scorecards.

Finally saw the replay of Bad Chad Dawson's fight on HBO. He looked good. Sounds like he thinks he is a contender.

This fight has lasted longer than what I thought it would. Manny is playing with this guy.
