God I hope Clottey beats the sh!t outta him...form reading his recent article in ESPN, I doubt he does, he is training at a place that doesn't even have a running shower and sparring against guys that you have never heard of and never will... they are managed by the same company and they have put Clottey at a distinct disadvantage, as if their skill set didn't make the disparity large enough...this is nothing more than a tune up for Mayweather ( yes, I believe the fight will happen ).

Still, I hope Clottey destroys him.

Anybody getting the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight tomm nite??

I just can't see paying for it, The undercard looks to be even less interesting than the Main Event.

Humnberto Soto is fun as all hell to watch, but not fun enough to spend the HBO asking price for. You'd think HBO would try to garner some more interest in Manny's megafight (assuming one comes along before the New Year) by throwing this card out on the basic HBO. But I should know better by now.

I too was hoping it would be on just the regular HBO, as I agree about the undercard. But dang I am going to have to spring for it.

And yeah, I think that the mega bout with Floyd is definitely going to take place. Floyd was on the radio out here the other day saying he dont care about the drug tests no more. But even funnier is that he said he doesnt mind putting his record on the line with Pacman. He was saying that it is a definite win for him.

I am still not so sure Manny would be as easy as Floyd seems to think he would be.

I'll look around tonight for a bandit stream, for sure.

PBF is confident, as he should be with his basic mastery of anyone who he has fought of name value.

However, his 'worst fight' was against Jose Luis Castillo, who would weather jabs and off cuff punches to land a power shot with either hand....Manny is quicker than Castillo was, and delivers alot more torque on the short swing hooks and uppercuts than Castillo did.

I love Floyd, but he had opportunites to brawl the elite Mexicans when he was fighting in the 130's, and he chose Castillo, not Morales and the like. But thats a discussion for another day..

Josh Clottey will try to work off a jab and a long hook tonight, keeping Manny at bay. He'll defend himself solidly and acquit himself well for 12 minutes, but a body hook followed by a flurry on the ropes will end it...heart will get him some kudos but when his defense is broken, it's over.

A lanky fighters worst enemy is a power punch to the brisket, which leaves the arms too far out to deflect the follower. I'll say Goodnight, Irene, midway through the 5th.

Also, Soto by KO in the 2nd

good call on the fight going all the way. oh, wait...

that was probably the worst fight i have ever watched. by the the 5th i was actually praying for your prediction, simply because the stream i had was like trying to watch the 6 o'clock news during a tornado watch on satellite in the middle of April.

i don't know where all the decent steams went but every one i found was god awful. i blame Jerry Jones.

how much longer is the Pretty Boy going to duck Pac-man?
