No disrespect to AJ Johnson, but Al Wilson was from a different planet.

If Al Wilson was on the field last September, he would have chased down Trey Burton, broke off Burton's right leg and beat him with it.

Wilson was a beast.

And picked him up afterwards. Great sportsman too.

Why don't we bring him back as a coach/recruiter? I can't think of a better leader/motivator. Even when he was hurt, he was barking out marching orders from the sideline.

Without the neck injury, he was a 1st ballot for NFL HOF. Still might make it.

There will never be another Al, but I think Butch will find someone similar.

I met Big Al at the Spring game this year and he pulled me in close for a picture and said "hey baby" and he still looks like he could play today.....smells good too (ha ha)

I believe it has something to do with his kid being handicap, thats why he's not coaching
