Not this year. Rhule screwed that pooch by interview for NFL jobs three years in a row and being very public about it.

Names I've seen mentioned besides Joey McGuire:

* Blake Anderson Ark St ( played at Baylor before transferring to Sam Houston)

* Billy Napier UL ( would probably make the jump to P5 and the $4.1 million Baylor started Rhule at)

* Josh Heupel UCF (extensive ties to BIG XII)

* Mike Gundy Okie St (started coaching career at Baylor and has shown interest in the past...plus Boone Pickens died)

* Sonny Dykes SMU (HELL NO)

* Luke Fickle Cincy ( recruiting ties to BIG XII while at tOSU and cannot stand Tom Herman)

* Brent Venables (BIG XII ties but probably a no go)

* Mike Leach (who doesn't love a pirate? Mormon religion probably rules him out)

Future name to keep an eye on is Jeff Traylor at UTSA

Gundy ain't moving from Little Brother anytime soon. He's paid too well there to up and move.

Venables passed on KSU and Tech, why would he take a craphole like Baylor?

Heupel might for the right money.
