Another question for you. Is Mordecai going to stick around? The rumor around Waco was that he was headed to Arkansas until the Shiite hit the fan there.

Recruiting Waco was always a problem for Rhule. Now those two kids from LaVega are going to Stillwater.
Yeah, Mord is sticking around or that's the latest word. I don't think Rattler came along as nicely as they'd hoped so they'll have a pretty serious competition in the spring/summer camp. Just picked up a nice receiver in that Theo Howard kid.

It does appear Baylor isn't recruiting anywhere well. I guess it's harder to recruit football players when they don't have the "I can rape anyone I want and not get into trouble" option on the table as an incentive.

You got beat out in recruiting by Kansas. That's pretty sad when your school is in Texas.

Never felt the need to have BU’s back, but that was a snarky response to someone having a straight up football conversation with you.

Coach Holder won't fire him. He knows they aren't going to get anyone better especially since they compete for recruits against us in Norman. They fire him and it'll be a revolving coaching door like we saw with UT after they let Mack Brown go. They aren't going to get anyone worth a damn who can coach up 3 star talent like Gundy does.
Hey now, there is only 1 UT around here and that orange ain't burnt!!!

It was designed to be more than snarky. What happened there hits far closer to home than most on here since one of the victims was a family friend that I practically watched grow up and saw the pain she endured in the aftermath. I came here to talk Sooner and Volunteer football and low and behold I find a Baylor fan. I consider that a target of opportunity worthy of the reminder that his/her university allowed and even encouraged a systemic pattern of rapes and sexual misconduct then tried to cover it up. Honestly, they should have received the death penalty for a decade over it.

The recruiting comments still stand. If you have an 11 win season and are number 2 in your conference then get beat in recruiting by Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Iowa State and your school is in the heart of Texas, you're doing something majorly wrong.

Well you’re a reasonable sort! Fans of teams connected with scandals are scum to you? Why you on OUR board? Ever shoot a BB gun at a Vandy alum? What about your boy Mixon? Girl ever be able to eat solid food again? Baylor handled that crap bad...don’t disagree. Stoops bent over backwards to keep his prized RB on campus when he should have been deported. No program’s completely clean...there’s a lot of flaw to share. Pointing out their subpar recruiting was fair...just salty. Loved my trip to Norman last time our teams played and look forward to September for a repeat...mainly because the fans are welcoming and classy overall. There’s some in every crowd.

The recruiting problem was all on Rhule and chasing NFL jobs all three seasons he was here. It finally caught up to him and will affect the next staff for sure.

Matt Rhule will fall on his face in the NFL and will get fired after two rotten seasons with the Redskins.

I'll tell you right now I thought Mixon should have been gone and Stoops was wrong for allowing him to stay and giving him a red shirt year for the one he sat out. It was shady as hell and I was happy to see him leave after 2016.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to receiving Vol fans again as you guys were honorable guests and I felt we behaved ourselves in Knoxville the following year even though you gave us quite a scare.

I think you meant to say Texas. Only one real UT, and you're on our website.

So you're asking for the benefit of the doubt as an Okie fan, but refusing to give it to a Baylor fan?

What Baylor did was as bad as it gets, especially considering it’s supposed to be a Christian school.

Being a Baylor fan doesn't mean BUBear approves of what happened. That's a lot to assume. Being an Okie fan doesn't mean you're okay with beating the crap out of women simply because the program glossed things over for Mixon. We all support programs that have screwed up at times. Doesn't mean we endorse or accept that kind of behavior. Stupid to act as if it does.

I missed the part where I said BUBear approved of what happened. Please show me so I can apologize.

Yeah, my bad. Your house, you're UT. I have more respect for you guys than that other team anyway.
I hate Texas. Guy I used to work with used to claim they were the real UT but when I broke down the history to him about how Tennessee was here first and about how he should thank us for the Alamo he was speechless

Of those:
Collins is going to Texas. Unless we snag him for some reason.
Wright ends up in Florida I'd bet
Caldwell ends up in South Carolina. He's not leaving home.
You have a shot at Hornsby and U-man.

Without a permanent head coach, you will have a hard time convincing recruits to play for you. Tick-tock, signing day is three weeks.

Nobody hates Texas like me. I live in south Oklahoma, but work in McKinney. I have to see that Longhorn crap every day.
