Watching the game Saturday then the replay last night that dude is fast! Anyone else notice this? As bad as our defense is we could put him at safety to run everyone down when the get past the line n LB's!

Lol-I'm just pointing out how fast that kid is and our D could use some speed to run players down since we can't seem to make many tackles at the line of scrimmage!

Well, we do have so many other punters and place kickers, this couldn't hurt us too badly, now, could it?

kidding aside on the safety thing, I agree that Palardy seems to be fast. dont know what his 40 time is, do they even do that on punters/kickers?? haha I remember the pass he threw a couple of years ago too. It almost appears Palardy is one of the best athletes on this team. Glad he is having a super year and hope the NFL gives him a chance.
GO VOLS !!!

I know at one time Palardy had two ST tackles saturday...if not for those they'd had 4 st td's.

He does seem to have good speed for a kicker, which will come in handy when he runs the fake punt in a couple of weeks. Shhhh.....

Why he kicked the ball 50+ yards Saturday to the middle of the field I'll never know.

cant tell if serious

Actually, it's a good Q. Out kicked coverage is what began those punt team disasters. Each play has a plan and receiving it 10 yards in front of D is probably not one of them.

Nevertheless, how bad it would be without Palardy's play this year. We have won a lot of initial field position battles in games this year.

Palardy has shown the most improvement this season. He bailed us out on a couple tackles as well Saturday. That being said, unless he does something we haven't seen, the NFL will not be calling him. Leg isn't strong enough!

He made a nice 52 yarder last game, among others. Plus, I can see where he would very likely make a roster as the punter given what he has done this year, and could also serve as the back up kicker.
