If we had a decent SEC caliber QB, we cut that offense's time on the field in half, and our defense is playing lights out....just like they were early on. Our repeated 3 and outs had the D gassed by the 2nd qtr....that's bad. Really bad. There's not a defense in the country that could've held up any better under those conditions, IMHO. And again, Cunningham's noodle for a leg kept giving them great starting field position.
Just as Cunningham and Lincoln lost the game for us, Palardy will spell at least a few wins next year by forcing teams to start from the 20 most of the time.
