If this is the going to be the face of GOP politics for the next election cycle, the Democrats can safely assume continued control of the Congress and the WH for some time to come.

DRUDGE REPORT: PALIN: 'TOLD YA SO' 2009®

I particularly enjoy her lecturing anyone about what she learned in college. All five of them.

Given the overwhelming turd that Obama has turned out to be, I wouldn't be making assumptions about either of the two major parties.

it's a wash between her and Obama (and he's Ivy League)

The hard core right was going to vote for her, anyway. All she does is continute to alienate the middle. The sure fire way for the GOP to continute to lose ground is to move further to the right.

and just so I'm clear, a move to the right by Repubs will cost them but the Dem gov't wanting to own the means of production/distribution will cause more people to vote for them?

Wait, are you telling me you finally decided?

it's amazing how he came from being undecided about mccain vs obama to being a wackjob liberal in just a matter of months. can we trust this man to know what color his laundry is? :lolabove:

Hmmm, I wonder how the common man views all this. Is there anyone who can tell us what others really think?

Eh, I'm drawing a blank.

Hey man, its so much more complicated than that. I preferred Hillary C to either Obama or McCain. McCain is probably closer in politics to Clinton than is Obama and I would have been perfectly okay with McCain winning.

But I do seriously take tremendous delight in the way that Obama's win has just so clearly driven the far right to the edge of the nearest cliff.

I mean, it's really a tie between her, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck.

Asking Palin for her thoughts on the economy is the equivalent of asking my neighbor's puppy to explain the guidance system on the Atlas 5 rocket.

Both are cute, but you'll just get complete gibberish in response.

you had no intention of voting for mccain. please tell the truth.

a supposed clinton liberal would not be backing obama 100% like you have been.

as for palin i'm not convinced obama knows any more about economics and at least palin wouldn't be in the pocket of the unions.

I challenge you to find me one comment Obama has made regarding the economy that indicates he is more knowledgeable on the issue.

and you're not more concerned with what that win is doing to the US? All the Dems with blinders on are truly scary

just repeat the mantra "it's bush's fault. . . it's bush's fault. . . it's bush's fault" and you can sleep at night as a liberal.

By posting this topic you in essence are advocating for the direction Obama is taking the country. You seem to want the GOP embarrassed as much as possible. What you fail to realize is that democrats have taken a radical turn to the left in their politics and the country is being, and will continue to be hurt by the current policies being implemented. Whether you realize it or not you are marginalizing yourself by casting your lot with the radicals of the left wing. Radicals of either party are equally dangerous and terrible for the country.

I consider myself fairly conservative and i don't read or listen to any of these people and frankly i don't know anyone who does. i'm beginning to wonder what % of their supposed "idiot" listeners are democrats.

Speaking of - I watched Austan Goolsbee (one of the economic advisors on Team Obama) this Sunday and he was nearly screaming about how everything was Bush's fault.

I've never seen an administration use the previous one as a blank check more than this one -- not even close.

i'm more than willing to admit bush screwed up, but i am sick of liberals using this as an excuse as to why obama can be a complete idiot. shouldn't they be trying to show us the error of our ways?

It is cover for the agenda. Any questions about debt, nationalization, etc. are deflected by saying this is the hand they were dealt and they MUST take this actions.
