So since it looks like Trump will lose. Who does Trump pardon on his way out?

This would be interesting. The self-pardon would be an issue that would have to be litigated. Pardoning himself might actually make it more likely that he gets prosecuted for something just to test the theory that he can self-pardon.
Couldn't he just resign, handing the keys over to Pence to issue the pardon?

I say this because I think it would be absolutely hilarious and Trump is obviously petty enough to do it: Trump should pardon Joe Biden.

He should grant Joe a blanket pardon on everything having to do with his son's foreign dealings. We all know that nothing will come of them anyway, so there's no risk involved. He should hold a presser, announce the pardon and explain "I know what it was like to have the specter of investigations hanging over my administration. I know how the impeachment process hamstrung my ability to govern. And I experienced all of that despite being completely innocent. I cannot imagine what it would be like for Joe to deal with that when he's so clearly guilty."

This would legit be hysterical.

Honestly, if he does this, I will move to Florida and vote for him when he runs against Santorum in 2024.

The pardon has to be accepted. Though it would be typical for Trump to do something just for show.

By identifying me as someone who is instantly suspicious of the presumption that individuals with authority or wealth are competent? Absolutely.
Nah I was thinking more a smarmy ass cog in the bureaucrat machine but ok.

In all seriousness I think you’ve probably met your end of the bargain but you could get more trolling mileage out of the Trump avi and I think you’d really enjoy it.

I hope he issues @lawgator1 a pardon for all those threads he's started over the last four years.

Technically, due to Sullivan’s justifiable outrage, I’m ahead of the obligation. His plea hasn’t been withdrawn, yet.

I’m thinking the “Trump is in denial right up until the inauguration, pardons nobody, (bonus points if he is dragged kicking and screaming from the WH), DOJ strikes its motion, Sullivan recuses, Flynn still goes to Prison,” timeline is still in play.
