It definitely looks like Pat Forde was praising the field storming at Louisville as being a "wild scene," while two weeks later, he rehashed a field storming from last year at Tennessee as being a violation of safety protocol. Pat Forde demonstrated no such concern for safety with his description of the "wild scene" at Louisville. Such an inconsistency makes it clear that Pat Forde has a different set of standards for schools that he likes, than for schools that he doesn't. Pat Forde is a biased hypocrite, masquerading as an objective journalist.

Actually CFB media is getting stronger with new blood and methods of communication which is driving the older regimes/media crazy.

AZO, On3, Josh Pate, Outkick, etc. are real contenders with ESPN, SI, and the old school media.

Interestingly, a lot of these media outlets seem a lot less bias.

I sure hope so. Of course the new blood and methods will be subject to sponsorship as well …even if it’s a paying audience. But I get your point. As a former member of the media many years ago and being married to a journalist for many years…nothing even resembles the “media” we worked for. Especially sports media.

And for Forde to cry about us storming the field and not mention that POS Burton hitting female is simply unforgivable.

The Vols need to add a surcharge to tickets to pay the fine for rushing the field. Each year, the Vols sell over 600,000 tickets. To cover the max $500K fine, that would be less than $1 per ticket IF we rushed the field once per year. The only downside is, the money goes to the opposing school, but the PR is probably worth it.

The amount of field stormings last year for mediocre games was ridiculous. Tennessee rushed the field for the first time in how many years? This after breaking a 15 game losing streat to the top team in college football the last decade.

You didn't see UT storm the field after beating UF last year when they were ranked in the top 25. You didn't see it after dominating UK after they were in the top 25 as well. You didn't see it this past Saturday after beating Texas A&M or after avenging South Carolina (who stormed the field against us last year).

In fact, I'm not sure UT even storms the field after beating Georgia. We've beaten them plenty in the past.

I’ll chip in $500 if we rush the field this weekend at BD 🤣🤣🤣. You want some publicity, how about 20k fans taking over another teams field. I’m also going to need another $1000 for my bail out of a Northport jail.
