Pat Summitt Petition

You know her blood flowed orange, and was a VFL when she went into labor while out of state on a recruiting run and she demanded they get in the plane right then so her son would be born in Tennessee...

The woman is a rock and if you can't admire who she is and what she accomplished then I question that you have a heart...

I know this isn't Football related or even official but I'm putting this where the maximum number of eyeballs will see it for a day or two. :hi:

If Jon Gruden doesn't get named as the new head coach, maybe he'll at least troll us enough to help rename the trophy.

Thanks. I signed 5-6 weeks ago but the original post slid off he radar quickly.

I signed this petition with gladness & thanksgiving for all the things CPS did for this program & for putting UT women's Basketball in the National spotlight at such a high degree of excellence. Thanks coach Summitt.

I signed it. It would be awesome to here her name next to every WNCAA BB champion. Knowing she was fundemental to building the sport of Women's basketball and that she was a VOL.

Not only a great UT coach, but one of the greatest ever in any sport. She took womens basketball and put it on the map, imo every women's team owes her a debt of gratitude.

I cannot think of anything more appropriate. Pat Head Summitt is Women's NCAA Basketball. Not often, in your life, do you get to be near GREATNESS. I met Coach Summitt at a promotional golf game, in Kingsport, at Ridgefields Golf Course. She was very gracious and quite charming. Moreso than any of the other coaches or players. I still have her autograph. She is the definition of GREATNESS.

Maybe Gruden can sign the petition the same time he signs his contract with Hart:peace2:

OK quiz What recruit was Summitt visiting that day, and what was her nickname while she played for the Lady Vols?
