Wish we could find a mobil quarterback like him....he isn't afraid to tuck his tail and run...what an offensive weapon...bet AL and AU are sick that they let that AL guy get away! WV is playing with incredible intensity on every down.

Yeah, I can play this game.

I want a QB so awesome that we lay an egg vs our incredibly inferior rival at home when the NC is on the line.

I'm with you dude.

I don't think White would be successful at all in our offense. If he were on this team, I don't think he'd see the field next year as a QB.

Yes, he is a great player, as is Dennis Dixon, but shows how fragile the spread can be when your no. 1 goes down in that offense. When you are more run oriented, the QB has to be a little lucky to miss the injury bug.

He is awesome at times and also awful at times plus injury prone.... WV can keep him... Terrelle Pryor on the other hand I would like to have

How long has it been since we've had a game in November/December with NC implications?

And isn't WV playing in a BCS bowl? :ermm:

No.. b/c we don't have a QB that can run the spread and shouldn't want it either... Part of our appeal is getting people in the pro's and the spread offense doesn't do that

I'm going to say this years SECCG had some NC implications, not for us, but was a huge game, if we win someone else is playing for it.

And yes, WVU is playing in the BCS, had they not choked against a team that is about equal to Ole Miss, they'd be playing FOR the BCS.

I don't see any teams running the spread in the NC game this year.. Both teams run to set up the pass just like UT does and the pros do

Oklahoma under Stoops has not won a NC since last millenium. And when was the last time they won a BCS bowl? 2002? I think it's time to let him go. OU needs some new blood.

I don't understand why this system wouldn't work for UT...not saying I want this exact style of offense, but the only player on the offense that doesn't transition well from college to pro is the QB, and we could have a system where we have someone kinda like Tee where you have a little more passing and not as much running as WVU has.

Umm, UF ran this kind of offense with the best player in the country this year and won less games than we did. That's why.

Right now we couldn't use the spread unless we recruited a freshman QB and most likely we wouldn't be very successful next year and we would he hear that the spread is crap and OC and HC need to go. That is why we will not get an OC that runs the spread!! Also that is not TN football

Well you may have a point...it's hard to figure out in bowl games ect. but week after week, you can't fool everybody.

Well, I would say this, that they also ran the spread with a throwing QB and won it all. Also Shaun King ran the spread at Tulane and threw the ball 40 times a game.

Florida's offense was about 10 times better than UT's. The defense is what lost games for them.
