Well, I would say this, that they also ran the spread with a throwing QB and won it all. Also Shaun King ran the spread at Tulane and threw the ball 40 times a game.

I think UF's offense last year was alot closer to traditional than it was to the option read offense you saw this season. Alot of shotgun, yes, but not near what you saw this year.

Florida's offense was about 10 times better than UT's. The defense is what lost games for them.

It was great, I was just pointing out to the guy that putting the spread in is not the answer to all your problems and that basing your coaching choices solely on their style of offense can create other issues.

I agree with you, in that is more what UM wants to do, but there are so many variations of the spread that if your coach is versatile like RR is, that you adapt to your personnel. And if you have a less athletic QB who is a good thrower you can adapt to his style, like in Shaun Kings case. But, agreed on UF style the past from this year to last.

Did you all just see that last touchdown...that's why I love their offense...they go from the spread and run White, then they throw the bomb, then the go to the power I and run a sweep...the combinations of diffent looks they can throw at you has OK so confused and playing on their heels...I am telling you I would this offense at UT.

I'm going to say this years SECCG had some NC implications, not for us, but was a huge game, if we win someone else is playing for it.

And yes, WVU is playing in the BCS, had they not choked against a team that is about equal to Ole Miss, they'd be playing FOR the BCS.

That was the point of my question. When was the last time WE had a game with NC implications? :ermm:

And talk about choke jobs, we choked against Bama and Cal teams that finished the season with 6 losses.

Right now we couldn't use the spread unless we recruited a freshman QB and most likely we wouldn't be very successful next year and we would he hear that the spread is crap and OC and HC need to go. That is why we will not get an OC that runs the spread!! Also that is not TN football
Enough with this TN football crap! I'm sure Michigan football hasn't been defined by Rodriguez ball, either.

Just win. That is all we want. Style over substance for some of you guys. You could seemingly careless about results/substance, just playing Fulmerball.

Not what I am saying Rasputin.. I expect results but if Fulmer got fired this year, I would say look in a new direction for offense such as the spread but he has not and also I believe the spread is just a fab.. I do want an OC that will run the ball and throw the ball downfield not 3 yrd screens and wr crosses.. I want a powerful running game that helps set up PA pass so we can go vertical
