Citing lack of a strong passing offense, Pat Patterson has decommitted from Mississippi State.
Patterson, rated No. 62 among receivers in Class 2009, is now considering Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi and Southern Mississippi, as well as the Bulldogs.
From the Ole Miss site. Patterson met with the new Miss. State coaches, but did not set up a visit. He will take official visits to Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Auburn and Tennessee in January and says that Ole Miss stands out.

I say this comes down to us and Ole miss......he didnt like the new Auburn hire and hasnt spoken too highly of Southern Miss. Him and Alshon Jeffery seem to be carbon copies of each other (size speed etc.) and I would take either. We also are getting his last visit, which is a huge advantage.
on ncaa 09 i always schedule visits the last date possible...i know its a s game but imo it translates into real cfb...any word on stokes? Posted via VolNation Mobile
