Patrick Patterson will withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to Kentucky.

Why would he decide that before even letting the scouts look at him much? Is he that excited about Calipari? He only gets one chance to test the waters...

Oh well - welcome back UK. Sad day. It's crazy how fast they go from being an NIT team to a top 10 team - potentially top 5 as the freshman mature. I figured there would have been some rebuilding involved.

Tanning Bed's snarky little shots at Cal about "Thanks for the raise" aren't going to seem so funny when they are stomping our brains out next year.

With the exception of Kansas, who do rank ahead of them if Meeks returns and Wall signs?

Most people have Michigan State, because of this year...but I think part of it is that people are reluctant to believe that Kentucky can go from what they were this year to #2 or 3 in the nation next year. Or, at least, people don't think they deserve to start there.

If Kentucky gets all those guys, they're just plain better than Michigan State. If Robbie Hummel's healthy, Michigan State isn't even the best team in their own conference.

I think I skipped over the "if Wall signs" part. In that case, I agree with them over Michigan State, especially considering that I forgot about Bledsoe until right now. But I think Michigan State got a couple decent big men who, if they can help offset the loss of Suton, could keep them ahead of Purdue.

A lot of people like Texas, too, because of their signing class. Syracuse has Wesley Johnson coming in, but if Flynn and Harris leave, it won't really matter.

Flynn has already signed with an agent.

With Patterson, and most likely Meeks back, with or with out Wall UK will be 9 or 10 deep if not more depending how the freshman pan out. If Wall signs I agree they could push KU as the preseason favorite to win it all.

If Walls signs - I just don't see it happening - but that would be the most unbelievable class.

When Eric Bledsoe eviscerates the MAC level point guards we have, I'll pull this gem back up.

You haven't spoken very highly of EB in the past. Have you changed your mind on him? Or are you just that dissatisfied with UT's point guards?

Saying he'll blister the likes of Bobby Maze and Melvin Goins isn't exactly high praise.

Without the new adds they were going to be solid. With them, we're in trouble.

The truth of the matter is that if they get Wall, they will have a more talented roster than the one Cal had 3 seconds from the national title last year.

Don't know if they'll play the same D. They'll be loaded, but Cal's last two at UM flat out D'd teams up. Interesting to see what Patterson does since he won't be the back to the basket post man.
