They forgot to include how many blown out knees were caused by his BS offensive line scheme

Still wish Stoops would’ve beat his ass at the bowl game. Paul Johnson just seems like a miserable person.

If they decide to get away from the option and not replace it with another gimmick offense, that would need to coincide with some sort of institutional commitment to really improve the football program/devote more resources to it. Given their current level of commitment to football, winning 58% of their games both overall and in conference play over the last 11 years isn't too bad. I think running a tricky offense to defend has a lot to do with that. If they want to go more conventional, they need help from their admin to compete on that playing field.

I've always thought Tech was a school that could be better at football if they wanted to go for it but it is a risk and a risk that I don't think their admin wants to take. Great location for recruiting, strong academically (both a help and a hindrance), and they do have some history and tradition.

One of my favorite stats to rattle off, especially to a Dawg fan, is that Georgia Tech has a more recent national title than Georgia. :)
There's an article on The Athletic about them that's pretty good. They SHOULD be better (not that they've been bad).

If they can wait....former GT QB and Houston Texans OC George Godsey would be a great fit.

Clemson’s Co-OC and RB coach Elliott appears to be the lead candidate right now.
