Pawn Stars..

Most of reality TV is scripted.

That's why I watch Breaking Bad and football :hi:

Ugh. Breaking Bad is so scripted it's not even funny. It's obvious almost everybody on that show is a paid actor.

Football, too.

Storage wars is sooo fake. Out of all the other bystanders, has a single one ever won a unit?

I would buy that they only show the units that the main characters win, but they announce before they start how many units they have up for auction at each location.

They could only show whatever units those guys buy.

The little interviews they do are obviously scripted.

If nothing decent happens in a while, do they plant stuff in the lockers? If so, how often? Are all the lockers staged?

It seem they are all real people and do this for a living

How much do they get paid? Are they ever outright playing with the shows money which significantly drives up the cost of the unit?

I always wonder to what extent it is faked.

But they are opening the gates, and they say "okay folks, we have 4 units up for grabs today."

And then there are always 4 units shown...

Nobody else ever wins a unit. They rarely even bid.

I enjoy it when the Storage Wars guys sell their stuff. They always, always get what they want for an item then they always show the buyer counting cash for the right there. I am so sick of these reality shows. The History Channel was 10x better before all these crap "Reality" shows.

Well some of the stuff they bring in there should clue you in that it's made for TV. Most of those reality shows aren't reality at all.

Pawn Stars- Guy comes in with rare document signed by John Hancock. Rick says: I have a buddy that knows all about it. Buddy comes down and gives a best guess price and Rick offers half. End of show. It won't be on more than another couple of years.

Of course it's fake. So it's just supposed to be some coincidence when some guy brings in a rare-ass "only two known in existence" type of painting into the shop to be looked at and it's like this with various items. The show is almost unwatchable to me now. Can't stand the fake acting anymore.

I hate when the kid spouts off facts about civil war and stuff, like he knows.

American Pickers? They really did pick for Shatners house right?

Right?
