I was drinking Shiner Bock and NewCastle for the record.

If those are my beer choices, I wouldn't want to. Newcastle tastes like what used to be an okay beer that somebody stirred a tablespoon of brown sugar into. Shiner Bock is just repulsive.

There's good beer to be had in Texas, but man, you have to work hard to find it.

SHINER, TX - The Spoetzl Brewery, makers of the legendary Shiner family of beers, has been awarded a silver medal for its Shiner Dunkelweizen at the 2008 Brewers Association (BA) World Beer Cup, considered to be one of the most prestigious beer competitions in the world. The medal was awarded in the American-style Wheat Beer Category
This award follows closely on the heels of an impressive Shiner showing at the Australian International Beer Awards which were announced in late March. This competition attracted more than 1,000 entries from 217 breweries in 42 countries
Shiner Light and the brewery’s newest beer, Spezial Leicht were silver and bronze medalists, respectively, in the Low Carb category. Spoetzl was one of the most-awarded American breweries in the competition
Matter of taste I guess. :good!:

The critical phrase there is:

The medal was awarded in the American-style Wheat Beer Category.

In serious beer competitions, "American-style" in a category's name is a euphemism for "thin and watery." Winning a medal in a category like that is like coming in first place in the Special Olympics.

As goes Colson, so goes A&M. Apparently.

She does us no good on the bench and the immaturity of The All American Adams is unacceptable.

This will be Carter's game to win or lose. She'll have to do it on her own an if I had a say so, she'd be out there without the other aforementioned at the start of the second half.

The broad that said Diggins was lights out is dumber than a sack of hammers btw. Halftime reporters need to stick to covering traffic reports and local deli openings.
