Watched the first 2 episodes and was thoroughly entertained. Without this thread, I never would've given it a second glance.

I have no idea what that means, but I got the idea and it made me laugh. I like what he said to Aquaman, also. Great show, a lot better than The Book of Boba Fett, imo. Just comparing 'em, because I watched both on back to back days.

Watched the first episode. Definitely relies on Bro humor (much like Deadpool). Pointing out absurdity of Superheroes using comedy to deconstruct the genre. I will keep watching but I think it’s silly to compare it to Marvel or Star Wars shows. Not exactly the same audience. I can watch those shows with my 6 year old. Can’t watch this with them.

thats what makes it superior IMO.

I’m 5 episodes in. The first 3 were pretty good but 4-5 have hit a semi-lull. Dialog carries the show but it’s a bit much at times. Kinda like the Gemstones the insult banter goes from being really funny to overused.

I thought the show was great. Honestly, the plot to me was completely secondary to the characters and their interactions with eachother. Had there not been such a hilarious and dynamic cast/script, I might have nit picked the plot more.
