Pearl article relating to contract negotiation

Pearl is being exposed for what he is. Hate that it all has to play out in Knoxville.

Each interview Pearl gives, the worse it's getting. Wish the guy would learn to shut his piehole. Can't make a leopard change their spots, though.

Article is a little unfair to CBP.
What would Brooks do in the same situation ? Give up the present termination clause he has ? Very doubtful.
Amazing how 'holier than thou' these 'writers' are.

He's just like the locals, can't find anything else to talk about.

How is he being exposed as anything? This is business. I guess you would give up money that may be comimg to you in a contract. Since you are so sanctimonious I know you would return all compensation.

His contract is not what I'm talking about. It's his inability to tell the truth.

Go back and watch his interview with Jimmy Dykes. Perfect example.

Which part of the interview, I saw it the other night and can't remember a lie.

The blame for the terms of BP's original contract rests with Mike Hamilton, not BP.

How could a studious attention to detail guy like you miss it?

When he claimed he was not going to have any contact with Jones or the team because "he wanted to serve it the right way." Dykes jumped on it quickly saying that it was mandated someone stays with him.

You do know it's someone from the University that is staying with him. And again how was that dishonest?

How is making yourself out to be some saint who is going to do the right thing, all while bending the truth (yet again) honest?

How is he making himself out to be a saint. He's not going to talk to Tony and the guys because it's the right thing to do is all he said. Could he talk to them? I'm sure during halftime he could go to the bathroom in his house or hotel and text or call without the guy there being next to him while he's on the ****ter. This is even a stretch for you and that's saying a lot. It reminds me of the recruiting thread where Dooley said he wanted bigger safeties and said 220. So if Dooley recruits safeties less than 220 does that make him a liar. One guy thought so.

As usual he has to attempt to play to the minions through tears, or in this case by clinging to the do the right thing schtick he's banged the drum on his career.

Just promise when this pathological liar departs Knoxville you'll be OTD with him?

I watched it, and to be honest, did seem like Bruce was trying too hard to make himself look sympathetic/like the good guy(oh I'll be in the hotel, twidlin' my thumbs!), and Dykes did call him on it in the most a-hole way possible.

TV gold.

If he goes then it's his own fault. Once again your argument is dumb so you get off topic. Bruce is a dumb ass for lying, and I think he should be given a 2nd chance. However, if he goes then he has no one to blame but himself. I hardly call that one of his little minions, but hey this is coming from Hat's little minion so I guess you would know.

Oh no, totally fair question, but it was in his voice and the way he said it, he wanted Bruce to squirm for a moment.

That's what I thought made the exchange so funny.

Imagine Bobby Knight doing that interview.
