Hell yeah, I watched the Duke-North Carolina State game tonight, Jay Bilas called it and it made me sick to listen to him. Why they hell do they have a former Duke coach calling a Duke game. It makes me just as mad when they have Herbstreit calling an Ohio State game.

Coach Pearl has 2 really watch his pdq's but you are correct Ed we need Coach Pearl & I hope this passes & we make the final four.

It will pass just give it time. I truely think Pearls heart and soul is with the Volnation maybe even more now than ever. The only bad thing is we are gonna keep having to listen to his haters for a little while longer, or at least until another coach gets in trouble.

It's the truth. Some people, and this holds true with every fanbase, dislike an analyst if he/she says something negative about their university. Like it or not, Bilas is a solid analyst. I take it you have never listened to him or Herbie? That, or you're a homer.

They should never have an alum of a school calling a game for that school. I don't think people would appreciate Charles Davis calling a game for Tennessee on national television either. And quit calling Herbstreit, Herbie!

Calipari has officially apologized to Terrance Jones for C's profane tirade on the sidelines. What Calipari did was far more damaging than what Bruce did. Maybe this story will have some legs and someone else can share the hotseat. I personally think Calipari should be fined.

As long as they're unbiased about it, what does it matter? Herbstreit (that better?) does a very good job of remaining unbiased when calling games involving tOSU. Same goes for Bilas and Duke. Actually, Dicky V should probably be banned from calling any game involving Duke University. It's a lot like listening to Verne Lundquist call a UF game during the Tebow years.

so the ncaa should start coming in to every practice and sit behind the bench/follow coaches around in football at every game to make sure players are talked to properly?

He should probably just lay low and try to save as much face as possible. There really isn't anything to fight back from since it was all self inflicted. The Vitale and Bilas piling on, passing judgment is idiotic though, but is kind of expected from those two clowns.

First, I thought his comments were diplomatic and not nearly as fiery a critique as some of you seem to believe.

Second, good for him. There is no point in Pearl antagonizing anybody right about now. He ought to be gracious at every turn.

Dick Vitale saying Pearl should be suspended for a year like Dez Bryant isn't fiery?
Bilas saying he should be fired during a game he's calling for the Vols isn't fiery?
I promise you one thing if Pearl has another public barbecue those two azzclowns won't be invited.
People should shut their mouths until the NCAA has made their ruling.

Pearl should invite those 2 to the 9th green at 9p.m., I believe that's it, like they did in Happy Gilmore. Lol. I wonder if that would be a violation? Vitale would probably have a heart attack though.
